At a point many people were struggling to find the new CIPC website. CIPC stands for the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission. Their website is at www.cipc.co.za and www.cipc.gov.za. CIPRO has become CIPC.

I have been trying all week to log on to CIPC website with my old CIPRO username and password. I was advised to do so by a CIPC staff member (after waiting 45 minutes before call went through). Trying to ring CIPC today and so far the hold pattern has been playing fro over an hour. Anyone esle struggling to get on?

If you go to the page at http://www.cipro.gov.za/transact/ you can login with your old details.

To login at http://e-lodgements.cipc.co.za/login.aspx, the important thing is to type your customer code in ALL CAPS. Your password is still case sensitive. After that you will be asked to confirm your details and you will be migrated to the new system.
